About Camille

About me : I've spent 8 years at Uni so I hope I can share with you all my tips to get better and succeed. I love to teach and want to offer a safe and respectful way to learn.

I've studied in three different countries (France, Switzerland and England) and experienced very different ways to teach and learn. I want my lessons to combine all the best of my experience. My final master thesis obtained the highest grade and got published, so I want to share my knowledge and help you achieve your own goals !

I was homeschooling for 5 years so I am used to one to one teaching. I know it is all about patience, confidence and encouragement.

About the lesson

I first offer a short consultation session to assess what you are expecting from the tutorials, what are your goals and discuss together the best way to achieve them. My lessons are for any levels up to undergraduates, any ages from 15.

Lessons from 1 hour to 1h30

I would rather teach in person. I am based in Stoke Newington (London N16). I'm also happy to teach wherever you feel comfortable in North and East London.

◈ Dissertation and essay writing
I offer a very clear and simple method to structure your thoughts and create an effective argumentation. From the research process, to building an outline, to the final redaction, I will support every steps with a consistent method. After using my method all your essay assignments will feel more approachable. I can also introduce you to Zotero to help your referencing.

◈ English and French literature
These tutorials will be based on your needs and your course's program (to be discussed during the introduction session). I'm aiming at giving you an in depth background to authors and their works. I can help with texts technicality. I want to give you the little extra sparkle that will make you stand out !

◈ French language
Depending on your needs and level, I offer two different types of tutorials :
• Grammar, vocabulary and conjugation following the same structure (any levels) : explanation of the rule, exercises to practice, a list of vocabulary to learn for next time and at home exercises to check back together if needed.
• Conversation (only more advanced levels) : an informal way to practice and learn. I can teach you how french is actually spoken by french speakers, from expressions, slangs to the cultural differences between english and french speakers.

◈ Law
On demand and with longer notice I can teach basic introduction to law and the best way to navigate in this new demanding language. I can offer basic introduction to trust law, European law and civil law systems.
