About Gabriel
I am a New Zealand born American who has a passion for history, creative writing, travel and Stranger Things. Since I started taking history in year 11, I have consistently earned mostly merits and excellence grades and was merit endorsed at Level 3. Having previously graduated I have first-hand experience in history assessments and am willing to pass on that knowledge.
While this is my first time tutoring officially, I have some experience helping out friends with their history work and I'm good at keeping calm and focused so that way those I tutor can learn as much as they can and achieve good grades in history.

I think my lessons would be ideal for those in year 11 and 12. I often think the best way to teach is to show the pupil history as well as I can and guide them while not giving all the answers in order to help them learn how to figure it out on their own.
I would probably have my lessons be about 30 minutes to an hour which would be roughly the same time frame as the average class session in school.
I have earned mostly merits and excellences in my 3 years studying history in college as well as being merit endorsed in level 3 history. While I am new to tutoring I figure it could be a good way to help me gain experiencing teaching and open the door should I want to pursue that route.
