About Dany
I graduated from USF with a bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts with a concentration in Marine Biology, and later pursued a Bachelor of Science in Biology. As my minor specialty, I studied Earth science and archaeology. My background in the sciences is very diverse, with a special focus on geology, anthropology, and astronomy. I am a skilled tutor with a decade of experience in academic writing. I am happy to assist you with your studies and hope to inspire your love for biology!

My lessons are tailored for high schoolers and college undergraduates. I believe in a personable approach, with respect to individual student’s needs. We will discuss your goals, whether there is a specific issue you want to work on or if you need long-term assistance. We will set expectations and work together to get you to the finish line.
I prefer to select a specific topic for each lesson beforehand, introduce it to you, break down the fundamentals, and dedicate the last portion of the class to checking your understanding of the material. So, expect me to ask you a lot of questions by the end of the class. Do not worry if you struggle - I am here to aid you and find a learning tool that works for you.
I encourage creativity and curiosity in my students as I want them to form a healthy relationship with education and develop lifelong learning strategies. If you need a diagram for visual learning, we will get a diagram. If you want to build a model, we will build a model. Do not hesitate to ask me the same question 20 times. Studying does not have to be miserable. Science is amazing, and I am looking forward to teaching you everything you want to know!
