About Shauna
Throughout my schooling experience, I have noticed that students associate learning with a lot of negative experiences especially because of strict teachers. I believe that thinking of studying as an enjoyable part of your day is conducive to success in school. I have also tutored classmates and younger students in the past and have learned from these experiences. I am willing to spend as much time in a day as possible to ensure that the student is equipped for success. I am skilled in research and writing in addition to teaching which makes my method of teaching more dynamic.

As I am a student myself, I am well aware of the challenges faced by a student. I am willing to teach students in grades 6-12. I have experience with both the Cambridge and IB curriculum. My focus will be to teach the student in a way that is engaging and interactive enough that they are capable of retaining facts. I will utilize a larger number of practice questions to prepare the student.
