About Narayanan
I have been a college teacher for the past 20+ years and have experience in teaching both face-to-face and online classes. I especially enjoy teaching math subjects including algebra, trig, pre-cal, and calculus. I have a Ph.D. and several years' industry experience as well.

My lessons are personalized and tailored to the needs of each student. I typically encourage students to share their homework or any problems that they have particular difficulty with and try and solve those problems with them. I prefer to use the whiteboard wherever possible so that student and I can jointly work on problems and I can lend a helping hand whenever the student appears to have some difficulty in moving to the next step. I strongly encourage students to ask questions that I try to answer in the context of problems being solved.
