About Sofia
I am a recent high school graduate who will be attending the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa next year! I plan to start as a sophomore next year with AP credit. Throughout high school, I enjoyed playing French horn, tennis, and volunteering with NHS! I can’t wait to meet you and get to work!

I have tutored both privately and through Kumon Learning Center, so I have lots of experience. My typical lesson plans include some warm-up review, introduction of new topics, practice, and then review of concepts. I have helped students by creating individualized lesson plans, as well as aiding in creating study guides for future tests. I have worked with children 1st-12th grade. No matter the child, I am certain that I can form a positive relationship and further them in their educational journey. Some qualifications: AP Scholar with Distinction, ISAC State Scholar, College Board National Recognition Scholar, 4.4 HS GPA, 5 years of Spanish study.
