About Madhavi
Hello! I am a dedicated dancer and educator with 3-year diploma - Nritya Bhushan from Pracheen Kala Kendar Mohali and over 7 years of professional experience performing, training, and teaching. You can contact me through my email at (concealed information) as well.
Dance has been my greatest passion and a core part of my life for as long as I can remember. My journey began with rigorous training in Kathak, and over the years, I expanded my artistic horizons to include the graceful fluidity of Semi-Classical dance and the vibrant, high-energy rhythms of Punjabi Folk. This diverse background allows me to bring a unique, well-rounded perspective to my teaching.
I firmly believe that dance is for everyone, regardless of age, body type, or background. My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and deeply systematic. I understand that classical dance can feel intimidating at first, which is why I break down every movement into digestible, joyful steps.

Namaste! Whether you want to master the graceful spins of Kathak, explore the expressive storytelling of Semi-Classical dance, or feel the high-energy beats of Punjabi Folk, you have come to the right place.
Dance is not just about movement; it is about building confidence, discipline, and connecting with your roots. In my classes, I break down complex footwork and expressions into simple, easy-to-follow steps, ensuring that learning is both rewarding and fun.
What You Will Learn in My Classes:
*Kathak Fundamentals: From basic footwork (Tatkar), hand gestures (Mudras), and spins (Chakkars) to advanced technical compositions (Tukdas, Toras, and Tihais).
* Expressive Storytelling (Abhinaya): Learn how to express emotions beautifully through facial expressions and body language.
*Semi-Classical: Graceful choreographies combining classical techniques with popular soulful melodies.
*Punjabi Folk Dances: High-energy, authentic Bhangra and Giddha routines perfect for fitness, festivals, and cultural events.
Why Choose My Classes?
*7+ Years of Experience*
*All Age Groups Welcome
*Structured Progress
No prior dance experience is required to join. All you need is a bit of space, an open mind, and a passion to learn!
