About Georgian
I started tutoring way back in my junior year of high school. That is when I first felt the joy of helping my fellow peers with a subject that I really enjoyed: math. From there, my passion for both math and teaching continued to grow. Eventually, this culminated in becoming a high school teacher where I have had the privilege of teaching several classes, including Algebra, Trigonometry, and AP Calculus. I consider math my passion, and I think it shows whenever you see me talking with someone about it. I know that it is not always going to be easy, but you can be sure that my approach will always be based on patience.

I like to break down topics into small chunks so as to better identify where problem areas might exist. At the end of the day, I think math can be fun and enjoyable, which is why I encourage my students to think of any problem like a puzzle. What tools are available to us? What approach is best suited for the problem? What logical steps can be taken to arrive at a solution? Being able to think like a mathematician is typically a sure-fire way to become more proficient at the subject.
