About Shaun
I have a PhD in Computational Fluid Dynamics for aerospace applications and a BEng in Mechanical Engineering. I have over six years of experience teaching Math and Engineering courses from secondary school to university master's level. My experience includes lecturing at Farnborough Technology College and Sunderland University, and tutoring at Swansea University. My teaching experience has equipped me with the ability to explain complex mathematical concepts clearly to students with diverse learning styles and abilities. These subjects include: Algebra, Calculus, Geometry, Trigonometry and Applied Mathematics (as relevant to engineering and physics). I have a proven ability to apply advanced engineering principles to real-world challenges, including hypersonic vehicle modeling for the European Space Agency and creating a digital twin of an induction heating machine for industrial applications. This shows I have expertise in computational modeling with proficiency in software such as Abaqus CAE, Solidworks and FORTRAN. I am passionate about helping students achieve their academic goals, and I am confident that I can provide them with the guidance and support they need to succeed in Math and Engineering.
