About Giuseppe

I am an Italian mathematician and Research Associate at Imperial College London, where I also completed my PhD. I am passionate about learning, sharing knowledge and helping others grow.

I consider myself approachable, patient and curious, and I enjoy making complex ideas accessible. Outside academia, I love travelling, dancing and meeting people from different backgrounds.

I believe that a friendly and encouraging environment is just as important as academic expertise when it comes to learning.

My approach to tutoring focuses on developing a genuine understanding of mathematics rather than simply memorising formulae and procedures. I believe that building intuition, understanding the reasoning behind mathematical concepts, and developing strong problem-solving skills are essential for long-term progress.

I adapt my teaching to each student's background, level and objectives. Depending on their needs, lessons can focus on explaining theoretical concepts, working through examples, solving exercises together, preparing for examinations, or exploring more advanced topics.

Lessons typically last **60 minutes**, although I am happy to arrange longer sessions when appropriate.

I hold a **PhD in Mathematics** and an **MSc in Applied Mathematics (Distinction)** from Imperial College London, where I currently work as a Research Associate. I have university-level teaching experience, including teaching assistance in Complex Analysis and Differential Equations, delivering lectures, and supervising undergraduate research projects.

I offer lessons to students at **GCSE, IGCSE, A-Level, Further Mathematics and undergraduate university level**, as well as students seeking support in applied mathematics, programming, machine learning and quantitative subjects.

My goal is to help students become more confident, independent and comfortable with mathematics, regardless of their starting level.
