About Nicolás
I'm Nicolás, originally from Peru, where I graduated top of my class in Industrial Engineering. I moved to London to complete an MSc in Finance at LSE, and I currently work in Corporate and Institutional Banking. Teaching has always come naturally to me: I've taught financial literacy to over 80 secondary school students, and during my studies I regularly helped classmates with maths and finance concepts. I enjoy breaking down complex ideas into something clear and manageable, and tutor because I genuinely like helping people build confidence in subjects they find intimidating.

My approach is practical and tailored to each student. I start by understanding where you're struggling and build lessons around that, rather than following a rigid syllabus. For maths, physics, statistics and algebra, I focus on making sure you understand the logic behind each method, not just memorising formulae. For finance, I draw on real experience from working in banking to make concepts concrete. Lessons are adaptable to your pace and goals. I've tutored school and university students, as well as adults looking to strengthen their finance or Spanish skills. Patient, structured, and results-focused.
