About Hamza Abbas
Hi, I’m a passionate and dedicated Biology teacher with a PGCE qualification and over 7 years of teaching experience across secondary and post-16 education. I believe that science is not just a subject—it's a way of thinking and understanding the world, and I’m committed to helping students see its relevance and beauty. My teaching journey has taken me through diverse classroom settings, where I’ve developed a flexible and student-centered approach. I specialize in inquiry-based learning, encouraging students to take ownership of their learning through exploration, questioning, and real-world application. I’m friendly, approachable, and deeply committed to academic improvement. Whether you're struggling with tricky topics or aiming for top grades, I’m here to support and challenge you every step of the way. Let’s unlock your potential and make Biology a subject you can truly enjoy and succeed in!

My lessons are designed to spark curiosity, deepen understanding, and build academic confidence in Biology and general Science. I specialize in inquiry-based learning, where students are encouraged to ask questions, explore ideas, and develop critical thinking skills—an approach that nurtures genuine scientific understanding rather than rote memorization.
Whether you're preparing for GCSEs, A-Levels, IB, or simply aiming to strengthen your grasp of core concepts, I tailor each session to your individual learning style and academic goals. With over 7 years of classroom and one-on-one tutoring experience, I use a range of teaching tools—interactive discussions, visual aids, past paper practice, and real-world examples—to make complex topics accessible and engaging.
I also offer support with exam strategies, revision planning, and study techniques, ensuring my students not only learn effectively but perform with confidence.
Let’s work together to make Biology both understandable and enjoyable!
