About Luis
I have performed extensively throughout Philadelphia, New York, and Chicago. I hold a BM in Music Education from Temple University and an MA in Music Business from New York University. I have taught music in the Abington School District and School District of Philadelphia, and I currently work at Reservoir Media, where I work with a catalog that includes recordings associated with iconic artists such as Miles Davis.

My lessons focus on building the technical and creative skills that allow students to pursue their artistic passions in whatever genre, medium, or capacity they desire. I help students learn instruments, create compositions, produce recordings, and release music.
Beginners develop solid instrumental fundamentals that give them the foundation to perform the music they are most passionate about. Lessons are engaging, supportive, and tailored to each student’s interests, goals, and musical tastes.
Advanced students receive individualized coaching to refine their technique, musicianship, and artistic philosophy, helping them take their musical journey to the next level.
I teach classical, jazz, rock, and pop, always using each student’s musical interests to guide what we study. Whether you’re learning your first instrument, preparing for an audition, developing your technique, writing music, or pursuing a career as an artist, lessons are geared towards student's goals.
My students have pursued music degrees at schools including Berklee, USC, Temple University, and NYU. I have also helped students secure performance opportunities in the Philadelphia and New York metro area, and have assisted students artists in releasing their music on streaming platforms and promotion on social media.
