My experience has spanned several residences, exhibitions, and courses through institutions such as the Art Students League of NY, Sotheby's, The Grotto Community Center, and the Parliament Arts Organization.

Hello! My name is Carolyn, better known as Kidcarol, and I have been growing my art practice since 2019 teaching both children and adults how to use painting as a means of emotional release and self exploration.
I focus on the basics of acrylic painting- color theory, composition, blending, and technique- giving my students the essential foundation to grow as artists. We then will explore our “what” and “why” of how we approach the canvas. Everyone has a unique story and reason that moves them to create. Through creating a safe space to experiment, we will nurture your inner artist to blossom into your own personal style.
