About Leah
I am a 5th year Biomedical Engineering student on track to complete my Master’s degree next year. While I don’t claim to be a genius, I firmly believe that achieving top grades is about finding the right study methods— and that’s exactly how I managed to secure As in my Junior Cert and H1s in my Leaving Cert.
Having studied Junior Cycle Maths and Science, as well as Leaving Cert Maths, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, I know first-hand the challenges students face and the pressure of preparing for exams. A few years ago, I began offering grinds after realising how rewarding it is to share the tips and techniques I wish I had known as a student.

All students are entitled to an initial free trial session, during which I will assess their current level, strengths, and areas for improvement. Together, we will then create a study plan tailored to their academic goals. Parents are welcome to attend this session if they wish.
My teaching approach is based on scientifically proven study methods that are far more effective than rote learning. By breaking down subjects into manageable parts and using different techniques for different topics, I aim to make studying less overwhelming and more motivating.
A typical lesson includes:
> Priority check-in: addressing any upcoming class tests, homework, or continuous assessment first so the student stays on top of schoolwork.
> Focused revision: tackling the topics the student struggles with most and gradually working back to the easier material.
> Exam practice: finishing with past paper questions and assigning light follow-up work to keep momentum between sessions.
Every lesson is 100% customised to the student’s needs. With one-to-one lessons, content and notes are tailored to the individual. In group lessons, students benefit from hearing others’ questions and perspectives they may not have considered themselves.
What Students Receive:
- H1/Distinction standard notes and sample answers
- Access to past papers and exam-style practice questions
- Individualised guidance tailored to their learning style
- Ongoing support via email/WhatsApp between lessons for any queries
If you’re interested, message me to arrange your free trial session and let’s work together to make your study more effective, manageable, and rewarding.

I cant recommend Leah enough! She has been an amazing math tutor for my daughter. Her teaching methods are clear and engaging, making even the toughest concepts easy to understand. I've noticed a significant improvement in my daughter's confidence and skills since they started working together. Thank you for all your hard work and dedication!
I can't recommend Leah enough as a maths tutor! From the very first session, she has been incredibly patient and accommodating, always taking the time to explain concepts in a way that makes sense to me. Her teaching style is both engaging and supportive, and she really takes the time to suit my individual learning needs.
What really stands out about Leah is her ability to make challenging topics feel more manageable. She has helped boost my confidence in maths immensely, and I now approach problems with a much more positive mindset. Whether it's going over the basics or tackling more advanced concepts, she is always patient and encouraging.
Thanks to Leah, I feel so much more confident in my abilities, and I truly believe anyone struggling with maths would benefit from her expert teaching. She’s been a game changer for me, and I couldn’t recommend her enough!
Brilliant tutor ! She went at a pace that suited me - catching up on topics I found hard and going ahead of my class on topics I found easier. The confidence she has given me in my own learning is amazing!
Leah is a great tutor. Lessons were personalised for my areas of weakness and really helped get my grades up! Highly recommend.
