It depends what I m teaching if there is story then the relevant lines from paragraph...phrases inside it ....difficult words ...etc should be elaborated so that student can understand it....and if it is poetries then it different style of teaching as poetry needs explanations of every single word...as teacher should reach upto the poet's mind ...
