About Mahika
I want you to know that I'm just like you. I won't be intimidating or demeaning. Everyone has their own path when learning and I am here to guide you through it. With the people that I have tutored in the past, I have been able to raised their grades from C's to B's and, if contacted soon enough, A-'s. But I always like to believe that the grade shouldn't be the first thing in mind but instead the end goal. The first thing should be self improvement and that only comes with confidence, and if there is once thing I can promise, it is that I will truly teach you how to be confident with math.

As aformentioned, I had to start from scratch. What I meant is that I had a difficult road with math. I enjoyed the logic aspect of it but when I was met with a different curriculum at a new school, I was at a loss. It became difficult for me to hang on especially with algebra around the corner. But I ended up pulling through and getting to the bottom of my fundamentals and fixing all my misunderstandings. After that I excelled in math and got a reccomendation from my math teacher as well. But it was hard work and I felt stuck and miserable at times. After that experience I realized that I want to be able to help you get through the path of math easier without the struggle; now that I knew the ins and outs of it. Now for the last 2 years I have been helping student in middle school grasp math! I want to teach you in a way that I can help you feel unstuck, because memorization is just not the way.

Great teacher! Has personally helped me in Geometry and Algebra. She explains things in a way that’s easy to understand, and works with you until you have a solid understanding of the topic!
