Hello! My name is Veronica, a qualified educator with a Bachelor of Education degree and currently completing my Honors in Educational Psychology. I have over eight years of experience tutoring and supporting learners in English, Afrikaans, Mathematics and Reading.

Hello! My name is Veronica. I am a qualified educator with a Bachelor of Education degree, currently completing my Honors in Educational Psychology. I have extensive experience supporting learners in both mainstream and learning support settings, with a particular passion for literacy development and Mathematics intervention.
My teaching approach is learner-centered, patient and evidence-based. I use the Science of Reading principles and CAPS-aligned methodologies to help learners develop strong foundational skills and confidence. I believe that every child can learn when teaching is adapted to their individual needs, strengths and learning style.
I am proficient in both English and Afrikaans and offer lessons in either language.
A typical lesson is structured, engaging and tailored to the learner's specific goals. Lessons may include explicit instruction, guided practice, interactive activities, revision of key concepts and ongoing assessment to monitor progress. I focus on building understanding rather than rote memorization, ensuring learners develop the skills needed for long-term success.
