I always try to adapt my teaching methods to best suit the needs of the student. If my students need to improve their grammar, I can focus on whichever grammar form they wish to address. For general courses, I tend to focus on the four skills, reading, writing, listening and speaking. However I can adapt to cater for the preferences of the student.
From previous experience, I like to adapt my teaching methods to fit the learning and personality type of my student, whether they learn better with pictures or sounds etc. My lessons usually consist of a quick recap of the previous lesson to then continue to new subject matter when I know that the student fully understands the previous material.
I am happy to teach on a question and answer basis in addition to demonstrations by pre-arrangement. Get in touch to discuss what you would like, and I will happily provide this for you.
I approach each class with passion, taking it at the pace you like and understand. Adding every day examples to your learning allowing you to understand the topic a little better. If you have questions you can ask away anytime.
I am here to help High school students who need help with understanding physics, maths and general sciences. I will do this by answering any questions you have, explaining topics you are struggling to understand and I will try help as best I can until you are happy with the result.
My teaching method is very clear and comprehensive which doesn't fog up in students minds instead help them to understand and dig in to the depth of the certain topic.
I approach the subject by focussing on what is sought by the examiner or question marker - and showing how to give the best, most concise possible answer. Rather than just piling on historical information, I attempt to show how best to use what the student knows to formulate a coherent answer to the question.
My teaching style is predominantly going through questions together on topics that the student is currently learning in school. I find that helping a student tackle problems is the best way to understand the subject, as well as the possible nature of examinations.

I love a custom approach to teaching - finding each student's passions, dislikes, difficulties, and aspirations; to help them 'get' the subject we are working on. I feel like finding each individual's point of interest is the perfect way to get great results; and enjoying our sessions is an important part of that.

I am a kind, patient, friendly and enthusiastic tutor. I tailor my lessons to ensure they meet the needs of each student. I start by understanding what the student wants to gain from tutoring and build the sessions from there! I teach essay writing skills across different subjects and helping people develop their written and conversational English.
My teaching method is extremely systematic and organised, with no guess work in the approach. I break down the marking schemes of each exam criteria unique to each subject, in a clear and coherent structure that guarantees results. I base my classes on practising effective exam techniques and knowledge recollection, that can prove invaluable under the pressure of the big day.
I have a very calm and patient approach, as I was not long ago a school student myself and remember what it was like. My approach is to look at the concept in the most simple and uncomplicated manner with my student, to build a firm understanding of the basics and then with that strong foundation move onto the more challenging ones straight forward a way.
Hello! I am Sarah, I am 21 years old and a first year music student at the University of Glasgow. My goal is simply to guide and encourage pupils' interest in the instrument by making it enjoyable and stimulating. I will introduce the instrument, get the pupil to get to know the notes and some simple keys and scales and then begin introducing short tunes for the pupil to play.
