I am currently studying MSc in UCL. I have a great passion for science and love teaching GCSE/A-level science. I always ensure that the students that I teach get the most out of the lesson by testing them at end of the lesson with short quizzes.
During my placement year, I was required to supervise undergraduate students and teach them new lab techniques. In this scenario the teaching was heavily focused on visual teaching. I would first demonstrate a procedure, then describe it step by step, and then explain the process of the methodology at a molecular level.
My teaching method have adapted over the years. I approach each topic in a different way, based on the students knowledge level. I first assess the students knowledge level and start building their knowledge from that point onwards, so that the student can use their time efficiently.
I teach my lessons according to what students want/ need to learn and work around them. I am a great believer in visual learning- using diagrams, pictures etc. I also use quizzes to test knowledge as I believe that this is the best way to see if information has been retained.
The structure of each session will be entirely dependant on the needs of the pupil being taught. These will be identified at the very start of the tutoring process. Following on from this I will prepare resources and lessons on your individual needs. This will allow me to ensure the most efficient and effective use of our time. Homework will be provided if I believe it will be of benefit.
I am prepared to give classes to High School, A levels and University students. My lessons are often structure along the lines of moving the student from the known to the unknown. My teaching methodology involves lectures, discussion, case studies etc.
My teaching methods have been proved to be easy and simple by my students as I prepare for all the resources like exam questions, extra notes and short question and answer booklets. I am a A- Level student and have passed the new GCSE's and therefore know new teaching methods.
I teaching method involves various techniques like lecturing, demonstration, discussion and experimentation. I enjoy teaching with diagrams and video.

I'm an international sutdent from Hong Kong. I'm a year 3 podiatry student studying in the University of Northampton. I want my students to learn in a way that works best for them, that they will be comfortable with. Therefore, my approach to teaching incorporates patience and respect towards the students and try to figure out the best way to tackle their difficulties.
My teaching method is introducing a topic, explaining and helping students understand, giving homework, revision tactics and short tests. I also go through topics over and over when necessary to make sure that students understand and learn what they need to learn.
