My teaching style is learning by doing. I based my teachings on my current work and put them into practice.
I like to provide a hands on approach, testing learners skills and knowledge along the way to promote the upmost development for each individual.
I am more than confident in delivering verbal advocacy in a teaching style. The basis of the BPTC is to instil confidence in pupils by regularly conducting public speaking exercises. I often participated in mooting competitions and debating competitions from which I was very successful.
• Tutored a young boy with autism; used my initiative to thinks up new ways to encourage him to learn and displayed my patience and empathy to calm him down in tense situations. Tailored the lessons to his needs, to allow him to get the most out of his 1:1 sessions. Through joint hard work and determination, he achieved outstanding results in his exams.
Hello, I am currently a PhD candidate in trust and insolvency law. I was called to the Bar by the Honourable Society of the Inner Temple, having been fortunate to obtain two substantial scholarships from the Inn to undertake the BPTC. Prior to Bar School, I graduated with a first class law degree from Greenwich.
My methodology is both theoretical and practical. I believe in order to understand a subject comprehensively it needs to be simply understood and easily applicable. Therefore, I expect the student to attempt to understand the topic and analyse gaps or misunderstandings in session.
I like to share what I have learned from the industry as well as professional studies in a simple way.
I have recently completed the BPTC on a part-time basis and I wish to assist students with Criminal Litigation in particular. However I achieved Very Competent in a number of subjects as outlined below and I am happy to help with any of those subjects.
First thing I would do is talk to you about how you find it easiest to learn so that I can tailor my teaching to suit you - whether it be through a conversation or through providing additional information or by going through a complex issue stage by stage.
My teaching approach will firstly be driven by the outcome sought and then the style of learning preferred by the student. I am flexible in my approach depending on the needs of the student in question. Remote teaching via video conference and assessments is preferred.
I teach undergraduate and postgraduate mainly. The lesson structure is usually based on the topics that the student wish to cover or going over any courseworks/assignments. My approach is to first go over a topic (for example) for the purpose of understanding, then decipher all the main elements and concepts (including summary of key cases and judgments), followed by mind-mapping/charting.
I am a practising lawyer in civil practice. - I am a friendly tutor in my early 30's - I am able to provide a comfortable learning environment whilst catering to my student's learning needs.
I find that everyone learns differently and being able to teach 1:1 gives both the tutor and the student the opportunity to get the most out of the lesson. I very much enjoy discussion and debate to secure the understanding of the subject in hand. I'm a firm believer in the quote by Einstein that if you can't explain something simply, you don't understand it well enough.
As a full time practising lawyer, my approach is both academic and practical. If your goal is to pass your law exams to the highest possible standard then I can certainly help you in that regard. I adopt a no-nonsense but friendly approach to mastering the main law subjects. All core undergraduate subjects and Bar course elements are covered.
Discovering and then structuring my teaching style around how a person learns is crucial. I found that complex legal topics can often be simplified visually and this helped my immensely. I am a great advocate of 'active learning' and integrate this into all my lessons so the student is not simply wrote learning or remembering answers, but thinking through and understanding topics themselves.
My name is Brian Lingard I am qualified to Hon Degree standard in English Law. I have plenty of experience in teaching law to undergraduates,GCSE, and adult pupils. I aim to provide interesting and stimulating lessons using internet and face to face teaching techniques.
I base my lessons on information and skills needed to pass the exam. I like to expand beyond this sometimes, however I understand that people hire tutors for a reason! Exam success! I start with an overview of the topic and then break this down into sub elements. I prefer interactive teaching as this is most memorable. However, I can easily adapt to the needs of my students.
My methodology is very varied and fits the individual learner. I evaluate the difficulties and try to help the children overcome the difficulties in learning by focusing on their own abilities. I try to always make the subject very easy and immediate.
I was fortunate to have Lecturers of the elevation of the President of the Criminal Chambers, Avv. Prof. G. Frigo, Member of the Court of Cassation. He debuted in his first lesson in University saying: "Guys, I will teach you the keys to reading the law!". A great jurist is not the one who has memory ...
I do not think there is a golden rule in the approach to law, but I think we need to modulate our method according to the needs of the students, their level of education, their showing or not interested in contextualizing the topics studied with the surrounding world.
The methodology that I follow and that of learning with specific cases: theory immediately applied in such a way as to make the concept clear and true. I prepare slides and presentations or multimedia notes that are used to integrate the material already in the possession of the student: conceptual schemes.
I will focus mainly on the concepts, recent course, the hows and whys accompanied by lots of case laws and emerging trends in this area.
law is all about sections, but the sections are laced with philosophy. I will explain every section along with the philosophy behind it and the case laws which explained them, in a detailed manner. this helps you remember not only that section but also the reason by it was incorporated. it is very helpful both in academic and competitive fields.
My teaching method is basically by taking example real life based experiences and mostly interactive sessions asking questions and answering.
I am teaching in simple why • Structure of your class • Your specifics as a teacher • For whom are the classes (degree, level, specific details, etc.
My lessons are based on the learning of a specific method of study, which aims to reason by using as little time as possible to become familiar with the institutions of every branch of public law, in order to reduce the preparation time and make it more profitable .
I teach the class on practical oriented approach with examples and through grip on the subject to imbibe the students with in depth knowledge.I know commercial laws and corporate laws substantive laws and procedural laws. I will teach laws in practical approach.
My teaching methodology is to reach the understanding of the student so as to enable him/her to understand in a better manner. After hearing the subject, the student should be able to explain as to what he/she understood in his/her own language.
