I am a Doctor of Law and have been teaching/tutoring since 2005 at SOAS and University of London. I am passionate about empowering my students with the knowledge, skills set and intellectual curiosity for the subjects I tutor on. I tutor students on the MSc/MBA Finance and Financial Law, BSc and Professional subjects.
I am a highly motivated and flexible individual and my lessons are geared towards anyone interested in gaining an understanding of the law. This includes students who need help with writing essays, thesis and completing their assignments. My teaching style is more proactive than reactive.
I love to interact with my students academically thus ensuring that each and every student gets my undivided attention. My technique ensure that none of my students is left behind in terms of grasping the concept at hand. .I also love giving a Continuous Assessment Test after the end of every topic to gauge the level of understanding in that particular field. .
Tutoring Approach: I take a very practical approach to teaching and the approach will be adapted to the course undertaken by the student. I am also able to assist with exam revision and revision techniques. I pride myself in providing students with targets and take great pride in seeing them meet their own targets.
My teaching methods aren't very complex. I use what I learnt by watching my lecturers and try to implement their methods myself. I start by trying to understand where the student is struggling and then I find materials that will help them develop an understanding of whatever topic they are wanting to improve on.
