I approach each topic to suit the needs of the student, and have a flexible approach to learning. I can also help gain valuable assessment marks by improving spelling and grammar! I am happy to undertake group lessons or simply assist on individual issues for students.
I pace each class on the needs of the student. I work with an open mindset that given opportunity and support each student can achieve their full potential. I use split class schedules to divide time on the most important current issues for the student.
I am a Doctor of Law and have been teaching/tutoring since 2005 at SOAS and University of London. I am passionate about empowering my students with the knowledge, skills set and intellectual curiosity for the subjects I tutor on. I tutor students on the MSc/MBA Finance and Financial Law, BSc and Professional subjects.
My teaching method is helping the student find the topic that they either already know or have some knowledge in then move onto how we can increase their knowledge before branching out and moving onto other topics. I plan each lesson based of strengths to then build up on a relationship between the student and I then heading on to providing work to do on their own and marking work within 24 hours.
The first lesson will begin with a needs assessment where we will discuss what areas of law need to be revised and to what level. I will then tailor personalised lesson to suit each individual student and build confidence. Lessons can also include training in mooting and advocacy, writing submissions, coursework and exam assistance.
I love to interact with my students academically thus ensuring that each and every student gets my undivided attention. My technique ensure that none of my students is left behind in terms of grasping the concept at hand. .I also love giving a Continuous Assessment Test after the end of every topic to gauge the level of understanding in that particular field. .
Tutoring Approach: I take a very practical approach to teaching and the approach will be adapted to the course undertaken by the student. I am also able to assist with exam revision and revision techniques. I pride myself in providing students with targets and take great pride in seeing them meet their own targets.
My teaching methods aren't very complex. I use what I learnt by watching my lecturers and try to implement their methods myself. I start by trying to understand where the student is struggling and then I find materials that will help them develop an understanding of whatever topic they are wanting to improve on.
My teaching method for A-levels are the theory behind the practical side of the law and how it is applied, breaking down each subject area to allow the student to understand the basics and to improve their eye to detail.
I was a previous member of the Peer Assisted Learning Scheme. My teaching method is majorly aimed at my individual students as that is the whole point in the lessons. My teaching style cannot be defined as one style as I easily adapt to an individuals needs.
I believe in law it is not only about understanding the law but also being creative in the interpretation and application. I encourage my students to engage improving their confidence and ability to communicate.
A-level Law is massively based around remembering cases and the law that applies to them. At the start of every lesson there will be a recap of the cases learnt previously, increasing in number each time. After this a new Topic will be discussed and explained, I would give the student an exam style question on this topic that they will need to complete for the next lesson.
I base my teaching method on the collaborative approach to learning, encouraging independent thought and research whilst providing support, encouragement and clarification along the way. I like to establish a personal connection between student and the topic of study, as I find it helps students think in a less personally biased way which is particularly important in Law.
I like to tailor my lessons to the pupil's individual needs and interest. I am a strong advocate for encouraging critical thinking in pupils as I believe this allows them to formulate and substantiate their own opinions.

Hello there! I am merely a couple of months away from embarking on my final year of studying Law with Criminology at the wonderful University of Surrey. I have always been very passionate about English and studied English Literature and Language at A Levels. Although I no longer study English specifically, I spend a lot of time reading books, articles and journals online.
My teaching methodology is tailored to the individual student: I will listen to what you want help with. I will help you understand the crucial foundations first, then teach you difficult areas to push your work way above average marks.
I base my teaching on understanding. My only interest is that the student understands my tutoring. I carry each lesson with the highest level of professionalism. Unless instructed otherwise, I cover lesson after lesson, in a manner that connects one lesson with the next. I am calm, understanding, open to criticism and opinions and ready to take on any challenge.
My teaching methodology is to look at the lecture notes first, and then to understand what either the exam or coursework is asking. I then look to research the answer using a wide range of sources, to plan a comprehensive answer whilst explaining this to the student.
My teaching method is based on what you, my student, needs the most. In our initial contact I will find out where you are up to and what you need so that lessons can be tailored to help you the most.
Both Contract and Tort modules are best taught by revision of the main landmark legal cases as well as through problem solving practice so you learn how to apply the law you are being taught. This is the format my undergraduate lessons will take to ensure the speed of problem solving is increased to ease the stress of the exam.
Extensive experience in coaching students to develop strong oral and written communication skills, in particular LPC oral exams, essay/ coursework guidance. Main attribute: analysing in a logical manner extremely complex concepts and transforming information and presenting it in a simplified form, easily comprehensible.
My teaching methodology is client focused, so catered to the individual student. Due to the time of year, I have found it particularly helpful to focus both on revision skills and essay-writing.
I base my teaching on the student and how well they learn and how they prefer to learn because otherwise its just going to be hard for them. I understand that certain subjects dont come as easy to some students as they do for others and for this i am extremely patient and can cope with whatever pace the child learns at.
My teaching methodology would be bespoke to the students requirement which I would assess after an initial consultation and whilst I have not practised as a dedicated tutor before I have extensive experience in delivering training to doctors and nurses in the medico legal sector
I focus on creating bespoke lessons for each student. No student learns in the exact same way and so I try to gain a detailed understanding of the problems each student is facing and come up with unique ways to help.
Feteris, a notable scholar opines, "everybody who advances a legal standpoint and wishes it to be accepted by others will have to present justifying arguments.
My teaching method is student-centered learning. I adopt this method of teaching because it connects studies with assessments to help the student understand the law better. This intern improves the student's overall performance and confidence. I take the approach that there is no stupid question and if there is a question I can not answer on the spot I will always get back to the student later.
My teaching style varies based on the needs of the student. For example, if you are a visual learner I can use PowerPoint presentations to explain a subject area. If you are an auditory learner we can discuss the subject and for example, if you were studying political theory I would ask you questions and help you to think about a subject in a new way.
