Lessons are friendly and relaxed - tailored to the individual student, their wishes and needs. Summary sheets provided at the start of a lesson, activity sheets introduced throughout lesson for interaction and lesson evaluation at ending.
I can teach depending on what the student is struggling with; the way I teach will be specific to each student so that they benefit the most. I would look to use worksheets, puzzles and past paper questions as a resource for teaching, as well as any videos available.
I apptopic each topic by asking what is their subject weakness and then giving exam techniques and going over content.
I usually begin the lessons with a small test to see what level the student is at and then work on topics that the student found challenging in that test. I have a few different methods of approaching the topics and use whichever works best. May that be using analogies and mnemonics to remember content or repeatedly practicing mathematical techniques.
Whilst at university, I volunteered as a STEM Ambassador, which involved running fun activities in schools to encourage more students to pursue a career in STEM.
