I am a qualified, approachable and professional tutor with fourteen years teaching experience. I am friendly, patient and I believe in building a student's confidence to help them achieve their potential. I am qualified and experienced in teaching: Chemistry to Key Stage 3, GCSE, A Level and IB Biology to Key Stage 3 and GCSE My first degree is a Master of Chemistry with Biology (MChem hons).
My lessons are suitable for any type of student who wants to improve in biology and chemistry. The lessons structure can be very flexible and adapted to any needs for the best result possible. Please contact me at (concealed information) for any further information.
I approach my students in a patience and understanding manner as I was once a student. My teaching style is flexible to the students needs and difficulties.
My approach to teaching is usually student-led with focussing on their areas of weakness. This may involve teaching and covering theory and/or helping improve their application skills by practicing exam questions. I encourage students to link knowledge from different areas together to consolidate their understanding.
I am a friendly and engaging tutor who likes to ensure all box are ticked. My lessons are structured in a way that best suits the individual preference of learning whether that be explaining via diagrams or by engaging in a discussion about the topic being taught. However, I always ensure that my students come away from lessons feeling much more confident about the topics studied.
I teach English language communicatively, with an emphasis on vocabulary and grammar. I teach Maths by working through graded materials that get progressively harder. I offer tea and biscuits. We work towards EDEXCEL Functional skills qualifications, completed in a month if you study 2 full days a week, just over two months if you study one full day a week.
I am available most of the time to answer any of your questions and help you work through past paper questions.
I have experience of meticulous drafting of scientific reports with diligent and capable of delivering in time. I have significant experience in analysis of various analytical techniques such as thermal analysis (TGA and DSC), chemical and spectroscopic analysis (GCMS, NMR, GPC, FTIR, UV, Pyrolysis-GCMS and RAMAN) .
My first aim during a session to establish the strength and weaknesses on a student. That way I know where they require the most guidance and which areas they are comfortable with. Once that is establish then we can create challenging but achievable goals that will allow the student to improve in their weaker areas and maintain their strengths.
I try to focus my methodology on what the student wants to gain from the lesson. If it’s exam technique we can work on that. I can shift to conceptual learning and to even techniques on how to memorise things. In most cases I try to understand the preferred learning style of all my students so that they are able to remain engaged and learn in a way that suits them.
I would have an approach to teaching by activities for revision and videos to help people learn. I would give help on calculations and how to break them down and give them words to remember so that they have the knowledge of them. I would try to inspire the people that I teach and also make sure they have fun learning them.
My teaching style is friendly and supportive. I engage my pupils well in learning because I speak at their level during lessons. Have taught Physics and Mathematics to KS3, KS4 and KS5 students. Knowing students' prior knowledge is a key.
Each class is tailored to the student.
By creating a fun and structured approach to learning, I build up a strong rapport with my students. This relaxed environment allows skills and talents to flourish, leading to many students achieving higher grades than expected. I also help students to prepare for important exams (11 plus, GCSE) by discussing and practising past papers.
I have an adaptable method but focus on making sure that lessons are engaging and so memorable. I would create powerpoints and go through question papers with the student, taking their input on how they prefer to learn, my goal is to become a teacher so I hope to be approachable enough to ensure they are learning.
Hi, my name is Karisma and I study Medicine at the University of Leeds. As a medical student, it is my passion to help others and with a track record of obtaining excellent results at GCSE and A level, I have the experience required to tutor a student into achieving their goals.
Principally, I am results-focused for the students to reach their individual subject goal. To enhance the learning experience, I do like to keep the tuition enthusiastic, upbeat and enjoyable - using plenty of worked examples and pictures/diagrams/practical demos.
I'm a chemical engineering graduate & had acquired various work experiences in various industries and in field of education.

I am a young diploma holder student in medical science, currently studying at University and would be honoured to pass on my knowledge. From medical sciences to general medical science. I hold a triple distinction star certificate in medical science. I am extremely amazing in maths as well as English language.
I’m a SEN teaching assistant in a secondary school, specialising in maths and science. I aim to teach a topic in stages and then test whether a student is able to use what they have learnt in exam style questions.
Use of old past papers (provided myself), of the related exam board for the students to go through with in order to help gain experience and an idea on how to solve an exam style questions. A quick 15 minutes test on the start of every 2 weeks to see the progress of the student, whilst providing fundamental notes and any additional help via emails for any advance queries or helps required.
I will be going on to do A levels in Maths, Biology and Chemistry but I can tutor secondary school students struggling with the new GCSE specification in either of these subjects. I follow a very hands-on lesson structure including practice questions but also explanations for topics harder to grasp.
I'm a engineer with a master degree in mechanical engineering and a bachelor degree in applied physics engineering. I am able to teach A levels and first years in bachelor degree. I rely on student personality and interests to give him the right tools to learn.
Teaching methods are mainly problem based - practice makes perfect after all. However, I am happy to make some lessons to aid understanding prior to working through task-based problems. The latter part will comprise of me helping the students work through questions I set (or they have been set by their teachers etc.
I am a biomedical science student at the University of Wolverhampton. I have aspirations of becoming a biology teacher and are offering GCSE science lessons. I enjoy tutoring through use of past exam questions that are topic specific. Enabling students to understand the topic but also what is required of them in examinations.
Have EU (Latvia) education, equal to A-level in these subjects. My teaching method is to bring the main idea of topic, not particular examples. After understanding the idea, we start to solve particular problems and questions. Usually, the first is theory, then comes practise.
As a young graduate I can empathise and relate to problems and difficulties encountered by students. Before attempting to tackle exam questions, we will take the time to discuss challenging concepts thoroughly to ensure full comprehension. Classes will involve questioning and answering ensuring every aspect of the topic is understood.
I can effortlessly teach chemistry to anyone below degree level and easily help them achieve a top grade. I can do this by looking at your past exam answers and analysing where your level of understanding is incomplete. That is where I will focus to enable you to have the best opportunity to do well. I can also teach up to second year degree level chemistry.
Most my life i have been extremely fassinated with maths and physics and would love to encourage and teach otger people about it and how amazing it can be.my teaching method is a more personal approach depending on the student.
