I am a qualified and science teacher. I have graduated with 2:1 then completed Secondary science PGCE and have gained QTS. I have extensive experience in the classroom, small groups and 1:1 tutoring across KS3 to A level. I am familiar with the new OCR, AQA and EDEXEL curriculum. I am very patient, friendly and approachable which would make pupils be at ease.
I will follow the specification for each subject, making sure to cover each thing. I will make notes, set questions and let the child ask questions. If the child does want to look at something else one lesson apart from what was planned that is perfectly fine.
Asides from my own academic success as you will see below, I have been tutoring now for over 3 years whilst in school doing IB and as a medical student at Imperial College London. I Think one of my main advantages is that I am young, so students often find it easier to engage with me, hence listening and learning better with me.
I am a dedicated and hardworking student studying chemistry at the university of Birmingham. I can teach maths and chemistry up to A-level having gone through the exam so fairly recently I know the key mistakes students make and how to address them.
I am Fiona and I give mathematics and science lessons to primary and secondary students. I am currently studying my A Levels at King Edwards Camp Hill. My personality is very patient so I will be an effective tutor and I am very punctual so I will give all my lessons on time.
Each lesson is tailored to the individual and I would conduct an assessment to identify strengths/weaknesses to establish a level the individual is working at rather than using generic materials. I prepare lessons with the students in advance to ensure I have all the resources and practise questions ready to maximise lesson time.
I am currently on a gap-year and have been professionally tutoring now for over 2 years whilst in sixth form doing A-Levels. Recently completing the new specifications myself means I am already very familiar with how it works, and I can give personal tips on how to adapt to this new specification since it's more challenging now.

I like to take a systematic approach, although i have plenty to give i believe one step at a time is vital. I like to help a student plan their work out which simplifies everything.
For Maths and Physics, I have found that the two most important things to consider when learning are ensuring full comprehension, and practice.
