I choose to help the students understand the basics first and then work from there. Students are taught to understand the purpose of learning and to make it a fun experience rather than just study to gain the highest results. Learn to love what you do and aim high.
I am 15 turning 16 I’m currently in secondary school I like to be able to share what I learn with others but also show individuals the fun of learning I want to show an individual the friendship between them and there education.
I am a year 2 A level student wanting to give primary to GCSE level pupils lessons in maths and the sciences. I walk through past papers with students providing subject area knowledge, techniques to know what the question is specifically asking and advice on exam technique. I am calm, patient and encouraging with students of all abilities.
I base my classes on the textbooks provided online or by the student. I approach each topic from the base knowledge required and in order of preference from the student.
With maths I focus hugely on ensuring a student understands the topic and the logic behind each scenario.
I achieved A's in all six of my maths AS levels, which is the highest grade you can get at that level. Teaching is my passion. I enjoy working with students to improve their confidence and consequently their ability to do maths. Any level and any ability is covered. Every lesson is unique and geared for the individual needs and learning preferences of each student. I have a proven record of helping my students to be successful in national examinations and achieve above their predicted grades.
I plan my lesson in line with the national curriculum. Use starter to settle down my learners, explain key terms, give examples and set differentiated tasks with assessment.
I prefer a one to one session with my students. This gives me more time to understand what the weaknesses are in a student and help eliminate them. In addition, I prefer structured sessions in which each student either reads beforehand or we can select a topic and start from basics.
My style involves first deeply understanding the theory behind concepts, and then putting it into practice. I put an emphasis on problem solving and being able to adapt to different question styles. I am flexible and can easily adjust my teaching methods to suit your needs.

I believe it is important to understand a topic well then practising what you have understood with appropriate questions. I also always suggest writing mistakes made into a notebook so that they can be revised, enabling one to improve.
I teach Maths and Physics up to A Level standard, and could also help with Chemistry if you wanted. I try to break my lessons down by simplifying the initially complicated world of science into smaller, bite-sized chunks to help my students progress and achieve their goals.
I use a lot of the mathematical skills learned in both GCSE and A level as part of my Actuarial Degree so I am fresh on all relevant topics. My lessons will be as interactive as possible as I am a firm believer in the need to engage properly with a topic to properly understand and memorise it. I offer help with both particular questions or help on particular topics.
I can adapt as to how you learn best, usually via examples and notes. I have developed different methods whilst being at university/school and these have worked best for me. Completing past papers seems to be the most efficient method.
I teach all children from Year 1 to GCSE, and dependent on which module, often A Level too. My rule is that for every hour of tuition I give, I spend an hour preparing the lesson beforehand.
The structure of my lessons are one-to-one sessions, based around first going through theories and methods and then completing examples and questions. I like to keep maths very accessible, and have built up lesson plans from the time I was learning topics myself.
