My approach to teaching is based around remaining patient and ensuring that the student feels comfortable during lessons. The main problems I hear time and time again from students, with regard to their classes in school, is that the lessons move too quickly and that they don't feel comfortable enough to ask for help when they have a problem.
Hi, my name is Karisma and I study Medicine at the University of Leeds. As a medical student, it is my passion to help others and with a track record of obtaining excellent results at GCSE and A level, I have the experience required to tutor a student into achieving their goals. I have A*s in GCSE Maths and all three sciences and have achieved A*A*A in Biology, Chemistry and Maths at A Level.
I tutor everything in your course in a logical and easy to understand way. I base my classes on teaching methods that are effective and I approach each problem in such a way that the student understands. I recommended that students ask me questions when they don't understand. All pupils leave with an improved understanding, which is proven by my previous students success.
Hard working, motivated and highly organised Health professional, possessing a vast and diverse experience accumulated over, in addition to an extensive and robust academic background (Masters degree in Public Health), 21 years experience working across the UK and abroad.
My teaching method is having a lesson plan for every subject and either going through them in order or whichever ones you find difficult.
Tutoring Approach: I usually start by working through various problems to gauge topics which a student may find challenging, this is therefore so we can focus on these to a greater extent. One to one tuition is an ideal environment for developing self-confidence in conquering the methods and techniques needed in Mathematics.
I am an Undergraduate psychology student and I give lessons in KS1,KS2 and 11 Plus revision in maths and english. I teach each individual subject using a child centred approach focusing on the child to ensure progression and to ensure the child enjoys learning. I am great with children amd every child will enjoy learning with me.
I prefer to teach on a 1:1 basis. I like to cover all material specific to the individual. I can be flexible with teaching methods. I prefer to work with individuals’ own textbooks or revision guides but would be willing to provide further resources where possible and appropriate.
I allow time in each session for the pupil to be independent, but also give valuable feedback to move the learning on.
My teaching style is based on facilitation and creating an intellectually stimulating environment. I am easy-going, supportive and a good listener, and I hope to inspire students to feel accepted, comfortable, and enjoy the process of learning. My aim is to instill a love of the subject in the student.
My teaching method is to to teach th information and then get the student to relay the information back to me and regular tests to see it the students remember what they have learnt and identity their weak points.
My teaching method is to focus on the areas that students struggle with to help them achieve the grade they want to get and I use different methods that help students understand the topic I am covering.
I like to get the student to stand on one leg, and put the one hand over one eye, this help then to find balance which is essential for solving second order differential equations. I have finally reached 40 words.
My methodology is quite appropriate considering I have been recently educated. I understand what examiners look for, and the correct methods to work towards Exams, utilising more past papers and questions to help solidify the theoretical side of subjects.
An energetic and self-motivated team player who thrives in high-pressure work environments, both independent and collaborative, hardworking, shows initiative and I drive by a desire to follow tasks through to completion.
My teaching method is based on individual students. From my experience students have different learning methods and I choose to work with the students and what suits them. I have done research in the past .
I am a capable tutor earning a grade 9 in the 2017 New GCSE maths. I currently volunteer within a school scheme to mentor year six students from other schools. I work with students to see where they struggle and help them overcome the issues they face with Maths. I am patient and willing to help as much as possible.
I provide personised tutor assistance for GCSE Mathematics. Can cover any topics to insure the best grades for any student. Friendly and charismatic teaching style.
My teaching method is personal as every student is different and they understand things in very different ways. Each topic I approach will be eased in explaining every detail as every part of Maths is a stepping stone to the next.
I find students learn and progress better with visual and practical teaching methods as well as working within groups. I never give up till the child is achieving at the level they are meant to be at. Studying maths development within early years has given me the knowledge needed to get a better understanding at how children progress numbers and shapes.
My teaching method is firstly the theory of the work and then applying what we know to many exam questions, helping the student not only learn the content but exam skills
I approach my method depending on what each student requires. I ensure j work on their weaknesses and help boost their confidence, whilst also pushing them to excel in their strengths.
I start with basic tests and games to get to know the student. I then devise a plan with the student. I try to make students do extra work/tests without them realising it. I regularly go over past answers with students and teach them practical ways to revise- that really work.
My teaching method is that i base my classes on every topic and didn’t get through it unless student understand completely that topic. They can ask as many questions as they want. I never mind.
I approach each topic with the mindset to understand with a deep confidence to improve memory and understanding
I am a kinesthetic learner so I prefer to teach by doing rather than copying etc.
I base classes dependant on the student(s) to ensure each subject bascis are covered before going into detail from ready and writing.
My teaching method is to explain each and every sum on the board and ask my students to do the same after i rubout them..
Maths is a tricky subject and I like to work individually with students. I have found that the best method when teaching children to understand the solutions and theory behind maths is to go through plenty of examples of different possible questions that could be asked on an exam step by step together.
My teaching is based on providing a solid understanding of the topics by implementing the teaching into real-life problems. The lessons would consist of the explanation of the topic and its application in the form of pre-written examples to be solved in class as well as homework. I can provide lessons for most age groups up to college/degree level.
