I am able to teach both general curriculum in maths and economics, and able to prepare students for exams. In terms of teaching methodology I always adapt to the student but in general for maths and economics take a practice heavy approach after ensuring the student intuitively understands the topic and it’s context.
My teaching methods are varied based on my students. However, I generally divide a hard topic into sub-topics and go through them one by one to make sure my students get a clear understanding of them all. Additionally, I give students sets of questions for homework based on their levels and push them forward to achieve their goals.
My classes are based on variety of academic levels, such as a level maths or futher maths, universtiy level of maths. I am really good at balancing theorial knowledge and pratical applicants, so that students will never get bored in my classes.
my teaching method is that I teach via skype I do not teach in other people houses because I can get very distracted I advise if your son can get a pen and a paper so we can review at the end just email me at: (concealed information)
I like to tie concepts to reality, using physical examples, oftentimes stripping problems down into simpler problems. I find that the main challenge is often getting the buy-in of the student who often sees the concept they are learning to be pointless in later life.
I believe that there is not enough emphasis placed on teaching students, but rather showing them how to get a minimum grade in school. I want to combine achieving excellent results academically while also teaching students the method behind how they achieve said results.
Understanding is crucial to success, especially in academia. I try to ensure that the basic and key concepts are understood instead of teaching a process. Through this, a student is able to adapt the knowledge and handle any problem they may encounter.
I base my classes around textbooks, specifications and past papers. GCSE/ A Level students are preferred. I usually give students homework on specific topics, early in the year we may go through a topic in class and they will answer specific questions for homework.
My teaching method is to introduce, develop and then recap because I believe the key to learning is in repetition, learning something once will not guarantee success.
You will tell me the courses (math, French or computer) and you will give me the name of the lessons that interest you. If you have exercises or lessons given by your teachers that you want me to explain to you, it is possible. otherwise I do my own classes and my own exercises.
I can confidently teach GCSE maths and ad maths on a 1on 1 basis. I can cover topics you are struggling and need extra support with.
I love inspiring confidence in students and I do this by getting them to enjoy the subject by presenting questions in a fun way. The reason I've always loved maths is because its problem solving and like breaking secret codes.
Growing up, I watched multiple Mathematics teachers in my family "in action" and I believe that I learned how to easily explain even the most complicated parts of this science.
I feel that I can offer a fresh and innovative way of teaching as I have been through the exams recently myself. Whether it is going over practice questions or past papers, going over all contents in the syllabus or just covering specific topics which are not understood, I love sharing my knowledge to those who want it.
I like teaching one-on-one classes as I can tailor my lessons to the student and the student, in turn, receives the proper support he/she needs.
I basically focus on understanding the material and notes first for a chapter. Then I will proceed with some questions to master the chapter very well before proceeding to the next chapter. I do believe in doing many questions as it helps us see the chapter from different angles.
My teaching methodology is usually tailored on the student as not everyone learns the same way. Students can be Visual, Aural, Read/write, and/or Kinesthetic learners.
Everyone learns in different ways and at different rates- as a result the structure of my lessons will largely depend on you and how you learn.
I find out which topics needs most attention to at first then I help the student tackle the topic by starting to build their understanding on the basics and then slowly advancing onto more difficult questions.
My teaching style is continuous assessment and support, going through difficult topics one by on.
I am a friendly, patient and understanding tutor who is looking to give lessons to motivated GCSE and A level students, who want to achieve the very best results that they can.
Previous to the lessons, I ask the students whether they would like me to cover certain topics which they find challenging or just teach something relevant to their level. I can teach on a one to one basis or to groups, explaining the topic and going through example questions so the student understands what is being taught.
Through the years working with tutoring companies the one thing which stood out for me is the lack of addressing the students needs. My teaching methodology is tailoring my resources to each of the students needs to ensure that their strengths and weaknesses are specifically addressed.
My teaching method is to use past papers and assesments to see where they are at in terms of progress then i see their weaknesses and find the easiest way that the child will understand so that i can use that to teach the child.
My teaching method is to understand where the student is at first and what their goals are. Then we can plan how to approach the teaching. My aim is less teaching and more practise. I like to use past question and explore the ways we answer exam questions. I like to adopt a practical way of teaching rather than a more traditional teaching method of lecturing.
Any topics related your doubts I can teach you....... But you should practice regularly whatever I will teach you in class....So It will be helpfull for you all ..... Maths is one subject which is completely depands on your own practice .......
I will be teaching my students in an interactive way. They will be also given questions afterwards on the topics they have learnt in the lesson.
I have been giving lessons to a secondary school student via Skype, I am delighted to continue giving lessons from home via Skype or meet personally somewhere in London. My lessons are based on my students, as I do not intend to do extra specific preparations but solve problems and point out weak spots together.
