My teaching method is heavily focussed on improving topic knowledge. One of my favourite techniques is going through an assignment/test and noting what topics they fell down on. I try to take one topic at a time and push to really master each one, then we would look at the assignment/test again and hopefully make a huge improvement.
I like to have an open lesson with a general plan and a few challenges.
My teaching methodology is to help grasp difficult concepts and cement them through active recall processes through repetitive practice. This will be through the use of past paper questions which I will mark and Gove feedback on. This is because modern day exams are about application and exam technique which are essential in attaining top grades.
This will be my first time teaching, but I am passionate about maths and am willing to change my style with each individual as is needed
I have a deep understanding in both maths and physics and so the methodology I use when teaching is by explaining the very foundation of the subject and understanding it fully, you can then build your knowledge from there so that students will even be able to use logic to work out even the hardest of problem solving questions and topics.

If necessary I follow the curriculum in methodically to ensure a thorough understanding of the subject but some areas may need more attention.
As a teacher and person, I am extremely friendly, approachable, enthusiastic and caring. Fun and humour are key ingredients to each of my lessons, although I value patience and empathy as some of the most important qualities in a teacher. While I hope to push students to do their very best and reach their full potential, I recognise that this means meeting different needs in different ways.
I base my classes on the individual needs of my students. First I will evaluated the level of knowledge they have achieved, find their weakness and work from that.

I can teach Physics and Mathematics from anywhere between GCSE and A-levels. My tried and tested method of learning is simple. First understand the fundamental concepts and get a general insight on them, then to attempt questions that challenge the deeper understanding. Then finally, correct the questions and pinpoint the holes in the knowledge and understanding.
I prefer to work through past papers and discover any significant gaps in knowledge to then work through in more detail. If students struggle specifically with certain topics, I like to start on fairly easy questions to first build up confidence in the subject. Especially in subjects like maths, I think confidence makes all the difference.
I tailor my lessons to each individual and adjust my teaching approach to suit the needs and capabilities of the student. I first like to get to know the student and discuss how they feel about individual topics before beginning teaching.
