I know from my own experience that the most important factor in a students success is their relationship with their teacher, especially in a subject as widely disliked as maths. So I strive to be as energetic and passionate as possible in my delivery to try and establish a connection with my students and share some of my love for the subject with them.
I would mainly choose to answer questions or help with particular issues you are struggling to understand, or need help with cracking. I don't have lesson plans as such, but could provide examples and should be able to backtrack and build up to the specific subject, to encourage your foundation knowledge.
My teaching methods vary depending on the student. I have access to an electronic pad that enables me to create an interactive whiteboard with which I can draw and annotate diagrams. I also take time to explain tricky subjects too.
I teach in all different styles, which ever is best suited to the pupil I am teaching. I have been tutoring for over two years within a private academy in Liverpool, whilst I was completed my degree in Business Management and Accounting. My lessons are strict but also fun, I refuse to allow a student to do anything but their best.
