Hi, My name is Mariem. I am a current MSc Physics student at Imperial College London. I have 2 years experience in teaching students at college level. I am very passionate about Physics. I am very passionate about Physics and this wasn't something that was inspired by my science/ physics teachers at school.
I approach each topic with analogies and applications. I find that analogies are sometimes the quickest and most intuitive routes to conceptual understanding of a complex topic such as Calculus and Probability Theory.
My teaching methodology is to keep my students engaged. If they are engaged and focused, students learning capabilities greatly increase. During an hour lesson I prefer my students them to listen and ask questions while I am there to help instead of doing questions the whole time.
I am a passionate, hard working, professional and fun tutor who's main aim is to help my fellow students to achieve their maximum grade potential through commitment and desire, allowing them to go into any field of study or work in a competitive world. I possess excellent numeracy skills especially in analysing and calculating data and my spoken and written English is also exemplary.
I teach in a unique way. I make my students basis in Sciences better than others. I want them to be creative. Creativity is the most important thing in my class. I inspire them to participate in different competitions and they do exceptional results in them as well as in the class.
I think especially in maths the base has to be very strong. So First I focus on the basics and then we can carry on from there. I use day to day practica examples to explain the concepts of maths and science.
My teaching method is simple. It starts with the building of key principles and knowledge of the basics, moving on to worked examples of questions of varying difficulty. After the aforementioned is mastered, then timed exam style questions with be practised.
I am learning to become a teacher one day on a Faculty of Education and being a tutor is the best way to get my experience based on your feedbacks. Mostly I teach people from secondary school, but i wouldn't mind teaching on my level, so for a degree which contains basic knowledge of maths or physics.
I have immense knowledge of subjects. My teaching skills ensure that you understand the topic because I believe once you understand something you cannot forget. My degrees include Master of Science in Telecommunication Engg. from London, Bachelors degree in electronics and communications from India.I am passionate about teaching and education.
I teach using my own unique methodology whereby you understand what is mathematically and physically going on within a subject or topic not just commit to memory. I am funny yet stern when it comes to certain problems and can explain complex problems in simpler terms slowly expanding into the detailed material.
I work to find out the students strengths and weaknesses, then fill in any gaps in the student's knowledge and understanding. Followed by plenty of practice on questions. The approach is totally personalised to the needs of the individual student.
As an all A* student I can teach up to A-Levels. I structure my lesson content based on the individual student requirements or their areas of difficulty, thus, each lesson is unique to the student. The lesson can be structured to cover course content, exam techniques or marking past paper questions with the emphasis on making student progress in all aspects of the subject.
Mostly I give lessons to all below University level, with a focus on Physics and mathematics. I will focus on getting the student to understand concepts rather than learn formulae by heart. My professional experience is testament of my skills.
I like to vary my teaching methods in accordance to what I am teaching and how the student works best. Personally I believe the key to keeping a student engaged is varying through the lessons for example, written work, followed by reading and an activity that engages the student in the subject.
I base my lessons on thoroughly written documents. For instance I first start by assessing the student's capability and then personalise lessons according to the individual needs. alternatively if the student is exceptional I usually push him to his farthest extent, by providing more challenging questions from not only gcse but also additional maths.
I'm currently studying Mathematics, History and Psychology at College, but after completing a GCSE in both Mathematics and Physics I know the subjects well. My lessons will consist of ensuring the student understands what they have learnt in lessons and to excel this learning to their maximum potential in preparation for any exams or end of year tests they have coming up.
I teach according to the need to individuals need with lots of practical session and relating to surrounding environments of Human life. Hence, it becomes part of life and student remembers it rather than becoming stress for memorising the subjects.
My teaching consists of different activities challenge the class or individuals. My main purpose is for the student to think as to what they have learned and not to just follow a set of algorithms without thinking as to what they are doing.
An experienced tutor that loves to share the knowledge with others. Currently studying engineering so I could help with maths and physics/science. I am using maths and physics on daily basis. I know that it may be hard to understand so my job is to make learning enjoyable, and my students in the past were happy to come for the lessons, as well make sure you're progressing and seeing the results.
- I will make sure that the first half of the lesson is to understand the concepts and in the next half the student becomes a teacher and teaches me back to gain confidence - It is important to keep attempting questions and make mistakes prior to the actual exam and as a tutor, I will make sure that more of it is practised.
I am a GCSE student with well achieved grades from A*s - B. I will be tutoring the new Maths that's has a grading system of levels 9-1. I have tutored my fellow classmates during the exam period, which helped them significantly.
I am a qualified science teacher and have extensive experience in schools as well as private tuition. I'm fascinated by science and use examples from everyday situations and contemporary events to make it relevant and accessible to my students, whether they are 7, 17 or 70. I have tutored primary, secondary and undergraduate level.
I adapt my teaching method to the needs and skills of each individual student. My goal is to evoke a genuine interest in learning by using fun and modern approaches that would not be typically used in schools. This ensures that the student remains engaged and effectively absorbs the content.
I went through several tutors when I was younger so I know what works best and have adapted what I was taught when I went through academic mentoring to best help all students that I tutor. I give lessons to anyone below 6th form level in Maths, Physics, English and German, which I am fluent in.
I am currently a student at Harvard University, studying towards a major in Applied Mathematics and am back in London for the summer. I am able to tutor primary school students in all subjects and secondary school students in maths, physics and chemistry.
Hi! I'm a Second Year student studying Natural Sciences at Christ's College, Cambridge. This year I began to specialise in Physics and Maths, but I also have plenty of experience in Chemistry.
I will give lessons in maths and further maths up to As level. I will help you achieve the grade you are aiming for by assessing your abilities and helping on topics you find difficult. I will go through them in our lesson and assign homework to make sure you fully understand the topic. I will also bring my own resources on any topic you need help with.
I am ready to give students of all ages up to and including A-Level standard. I aspire to learn the capabilities of the student within their first session and modify my teaching methods based on their study technique.
I have tutored both maths and science subjects, on a one-to-one basis and in small group settings. Tutoring Style: I have many years experience tutoring all levels. I have helped students improve their academic perforce at KS2 and prepared students for GCSE, AS, and A-Level.
hello, my name is bisma and I am currently studying in college. I love to teach since my age of childhood. I will teach one to one where I think it is the best way for an individual to learn. my way of teaching is very different to rather than other teachers.
