I approach each topic with analogies and applications. I find that analogies are sometimes the quickest and most intuitive routes to conceptual understanding of a complex topic such as Calculus and Probability Theory.
My teaching methodology is to keep my students engaged. If they are engaged and focused, students learning capabilities greatly increase. During an hour lesson I prefer my students them to listen and ask questions while I am there to help instead of doing questions the whole time.
Currently, I don't tutor, but in the past I have tutored my friends at GCSE level who were struggling to get a grasp of the maths and science content and I have always found it quite fulfilling to spread my knowledge. However, I would like to change that and try to widen the spread even more and start to tutor students at a larger level.

I primarily teach english, maths and science to children aged 5 - 16. My teaching method is based around improving each student's understanding and teaching them each topic in easy to understand ways. I am an experienced facilitator and I believe that its important to teach my students how to study smarter, not harder.
I am a university student, studying dentistry at King's College London, who achieved A* in mathematics at GCSE and A level. My technique involves pupils coming to me with problems, which I can address.
I am a straight A* student and that required much hard work and dedication to achieve those grades. Hopefully I can also help you to get the results that you dream of! I tailor my lessons according to each individual making sure every area is well covered and changing areas of weakness into areas of strength. I am patient, friendly and have a passion for teaching.
I am a passionate, hard working, professional and fun tutor who's main aim is to help my fellow students to achieve their maximum grade potential through commitment and desire, allowing them to go into any field of study or work in a competitive world. I possess excellent numeracy skills especially in analysing and calculating data and my spoken and written English is also exemplary.
I would like to tutor in Maths, Numbers, Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, Arithmetic,Statistics I would like to teach primary or secondary school children. I would like to tutor ideally in Hounslow, Middlesex I would like to tutor by using textbooks, and maths tests.
My approach to teaching is simple and straightforward. I draw up a plan to focus on areas of weakness, draw up a plan and make each lesson count. I am able to create a very friendly and relaxed atmosphere during my lessons which helps the overall effectiveness.
I provide the students with the opportunity to learn and develop their mathematical skills and knowledge for success in their exams.
I am an experienced tutor with 4 years of experience. I have tutored privately to 11+ and maths to primary level and always have a good feedback. I am organised and prepare my lesson in advance so we don't waste time and use our time effectively and efficiently.
I think especially in maths the base has to be very strong. So First I focus on the basics and then we can carry on from there. I use day to day practica examples to explain the concepts of maths and science.

Hi, I am a 17 yr student in Tiffin School's Sixth Form studying maths, further maths and economics. I am looking to tutor mathematics ranging from sats, 11+, 13+, basic fundamentals of maths, extra help in lessons, GCSE, Core AS level. I can work flexible hours to suit your needs and I like to develop a good rapport with my students.
Using systematic methods to approach various questions. Aid students to notice different problems that can easily be solved once noticed. Easy to read revision material to understand methodologies off by heart. Identify areas that need most attention to. Looking at past exam papers, seeing the questions (identifying a pattern).
My teaching method is simple. It starts with the building of key principles and knowledge of the basics, moving on to worked examples of questions of varying difficulty. After the aforementioned is mastered, then timed exam style questions with be practised.
I am learning to become a teacher one day on a Faculty of Education and being a tutor is the best way to get my experience based on your feedbacks. Mostly I teach people from secondary school, but i wouldn't mind teaching on my level, so for a degree which contains basic knowledge of maths or physics.
I have immense knowledge of subjects. My teaching skills ensure that you understand the topic because I believe once you understand something you cannot forget. My degrees include Master of Science in Telecommunication Engg. from London, Bachelors degree in electronics and communications from India.I am passionate about teaching and education.
I strongly believe a student will achieve his/her best when they are enjoying the subject matter. This is why I adapt my teaching for each student and ensure firstly that they motivated and understand the end goal. My top priority with each student is that they achieve their full potential and that they are motivated to learn and to continue learning through their educational life.
I am a Medicine student at King's College London. I can provide maths tuition up to GCSE level at the moment and may also do A Level in the near future. I believe that working through questions is the best way to teach as this will highlight specific problems. We can then work through the problem together and address the theory behind it. I am very patient.
My approach to tutoring is to initially understand the students academic skill based on their previous exam results, what set/level class they are in at school and finally what their predicted grades may be. I then try to understand the students personal ambition and commitment to achieving or surpassing their predicted grades.
My methodology is to break the topic into small manageable chunks to make it more accessible to the students. I love teaching A-level maths and it is my biggest satisfaction to see my students understand the different topics in Maths and develop the love for the subject.
I have previously tutored GCSE pupils however though I have not tutored A-Level students I can safely say I have the correct level of experience to do so considering how recently I finished my exams. I take organisation seriously, I do believe past papers are the key to achieving your Maths grade.
I break things down into simplistic terms - in a way in which the student can easily understand difficult concepts. I like to create analogies and diagrams as I feel that if the student can visualise and compare concepts it enhances their learning.
I try to explain each and every point in detail so that my students understand what I am explaining
I love to teach my learners by using a lot of examples. I design my lessons based on the abilities and needs of my students, which brings out their full potential. I like helping learners to achieve success and this gives me great satisfaction.
I am a computer science student at Kings College London with A/A* in GCSE Maths, Statistics and A Level Maths and Further Maths. I give lessons to both primary and secondary school pupils and do this by explaining the basics and then going through multiple examples to illustrate the points.
