My method of teaching is to give as little input as possible to allow the student to do most of the thinking themselves. This allows them to fully understand the topics they are required to and so they have an ingrained knowledge of the subject area with which it becomes easier to revise with and achieve a higher grade at GCSE.
I'm a mechanical engineering student and have been teaching for over 5 years now. My students have always achieved great results with most of them achieving A*s. I have always loved maths and will make sure my students do too. I don't believe is homework's rather I love to teach everything in class, revision is the back bone to everything I teach. Try me you won't regret it.
I try and help students to breakdown a problem into its component pieces, this methodical approach helps to show that even the most difficult questions can be broken down. I also teach practically, that is, if a student gives me a question that he/she is unable to answer I will help them answer the question by applying the skills they have learnt and assist when necessary.
As a qualified teacher holding a first class degree and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), I can vary my instructional strategy to suit the pupils' learning needs. I have taught Year 6-Year 13 throughout my teaching career so I understand that different ages/subjects require tailored lesson plans.
Where possible I like to make my teaching as practical as possible, as I have a belief that the learning is in the doing. I allow the student to move at their own pace and work to curriculum / 11+ level at the pace of the child. I can follow my own programme of study or tailor it to fit the study of the students school learning.
I describe my approach to teaching as patient and relaxed. I understand what it is like to prepare for exams and how helpful it can be to have somebody explain a theory or concept that you just can't seem to get your head around, or to simply go through exercises with you.
I am direct to the point with my teaching, knowing why something is what it is is crucial, knowing the facts alone is not enough. Come to me if you not only want to do well but excel in your understanding and depth of your knowledge.

Often try and prepare my own material to explore other methods and techniques which can be suitable to the learning of different students.

Often the reason for someone falling behind in fields such as mathematics is due to lack of engagement from both the perspective of the student and the tutor. Therefore I aspire to have an exciting and impassioned teaching style. Also, I believe my young age may be beneficial as to help with a productive tutor-student partnership as young people tend to listen closest to people of a similar age.

I am giving lessons to any student of primary or secondary education standard up to and including GCSE standard in mathematics, chemistry, biology, physics and verbal/ non-verbal reasoning. I am happy to teach based on specific topics you find confusing or to help generally throughout the whole course.
I like to vary my teaching methods in accordance to what I am teaching and how the student works best. Personally I believe the key to keeping a student engaged is varying through the lessons for example, written work, followed by reading and an activity that engages the student in the subject.
My teaching method is uniquely tailored to each student, as everyone learns in different ways. Some are visual learners and others prefer to listen. I would be a perfect tutor for primary school children, as well as those between Year 7-9.

As a result of this exposure to so many different ways of learning, my own teaching style is varied and adaptable. I teach each student differently, catering to their different styles of learning and changing how I express the content in order to ensure that the student learns the content thoroughly.
I work to find out the students strengths and weaknesses, then fill in any gaps in the student's knowledge and understanding. Followed by plenty of practice on questions. The approach is totally personalised to the needs of the individual student.
Teachers must have theoretical and practical knowledge and abilities about science, learning, and science teaching.
I am learning to become a teacher one day on a Faculty of Education and being a tutor is the best way to get my experience based on your feedbacks. Mostly I teach people from secondary school, but i wouldn't mind teaching on my level, so for a degree which contains basic knowledge of maths or physics.
My teaching method is simple. It starts with the building of key principles and knowledge of the basics, moving on to worked examples of questions of varying difficulty. After the aforementioned is mastered, then timed exam style questions with be practised.
