I am an English Literature Graduate who is offering English support to students up to A Level ability. I am young, fun and enthusiastic, and I believe in everyone's ability to succeed.
I am looking to give lessons to anyone from High School to an A-level standard. I always initially base my lessos around what the student personally perceives their weakest point to be, as the students self-confidence and personal views are of the utmost importance to me.
My core teaching method is positive reinforcement, I believe that people of all abilities can be given the techniques and knowledge they need to feel inspired, through patience, structure, and tailored pathways, such as auditory, kinesthetic, visual or practice revision.

Hi! I'm currently studying in my third year at university doing a BA (Hons) English Language and Literature degree, to which I will follow up with a School Direct course during my fourth year at university to become a qualified secondary English teacher. I believe that the best method to teach is to not feel as if a teacher is purely talking at the student and hoping that they will understand.
I have a passion for English and would like to share that passion and help people expand their knowledge. I’m studying A Level Literature at the moment and would like to support others. Willing to offer support and resources to improve grades.

The lessons can be planned out by myself as well as by yourself.
We all learn differently, in school I was always afraid to ask questions in case it was the wrong question. How can a question be wrong, when you are asking so you know the answer. I learnt from my teachers in school that I would never make a student feel as i did. You would have the time and freedom to ask questions, you feel are relevant and important.
Teaching isn't an easy job and it certainly isn't a job a person can always opt for. Living in a world where English has become a global language is quite tough to be honest but if I can do this as a non-native English speaker then so can you. You just need a pat on the back and I can be the person to pat your back everytime you succeed at something in English.

When at college I participated in peer tutoring, which I enjoyed a lot: I like making friends through teaching - discursive study is a much better approach than simply telling someone to go over things.
My lessons are clearly planned over a on hour period covering all the essential points in the lessons. I would make sure that when I am teaching students in their own homes that they would clearly understand each point and topic before moving onto the next topic.
