I take a very interactive role to teaching and structure lessons based on the student's learning style. I am highly conversational and enjoy speaking with people of different backgrounds and nationalities. Whilst grammar and vocabulary are important, speaking English clearly, fluently and confidently only comes through constantly talking with native speakers and that is what I provide.
My lessons are well suited to students who are studying at GCSE, a -level and degree level. My teaching method consists of making history fun for my students. My lessons are engaging as I transport my students back into time for them to understand certain historical events while analysing how they have impacted the world today.
I base my teaching on understanding. My only interest is that the student understands my tutoring. I carry each lesson with the highest level of professionalism. Unless instructed otherwise, I cover lesson after lesson, in a manner that connects one lesson with the next. I specialise in secondary English language and literature up to Advanced Higher. I am a university student from Nottingham and have tutored a wide range of students before. I try to change my teaching style to fit the student, as each person learns in a different way.

- Classes Tuition is provided in a small group of up to 5 children of different ages and abilities. Although students may be in a group of up to 5 others, each child work individually on their own tailored educational programme. This allows them to develop as independent learners while having individual attention form our tutors.

My preferred teaching method is a mix of discussion and note taking, and essay structuring and planning as I find this is the most effective way of practising for essay-based subjects such as English and A Level. I also believe in breaking up sessions into periods of 20 minutes in order to keep the tutee stimulated and attentive.
