I take my job extremely seriously to obtain optimum results for my students. I like to tailor my teaching based on the needs of the student and approach things from there. I can make my lessons lecture based or do less talking and more working, by going through questions and examples to help with topics.

I base my lessons on what students have most difficulty on and areas on each topic that may be quite tricky. Additionally, I make sure before moving on to another topic, the student understands well the previous one. For each session, I tend to give them a starter where they do activities from the last session to keep children reminded.
Given my engineering background, I aim to contextualise my students learning with examples of how STEM topics relate to practical applications. I also personalise my lessons to fit my students needs. Depending on the level of understanding of the student, I recommend between 2-3 session weekly schedule for effective learning, following a week-by-week modular structure.
I am flexible and versatile in my teaching approach and the methods I use depend on the individual needs of my pupils. I plan all my lessons before hand, and make quick assessments throughout lessons to gauge whether more input is required.

I would encourage them to reflect on work they have done to motivate them further and provide that extra boost to go the extra mile.
