My teaching method is suited to the student, I understand that everyone learns in a different way and feel that it is necessary to cater to this method. I base my classes on the students weakest point and progress to the strongest in order to develop a complete understanding of the subject.
I am able to adapt to the students' needs and struggling topics so my teaching will be based off what the student prioritises as their biggest struggle first. I am quite young and have recently done my GCSEs so I am very easy and friendly to communicate with.
My teaching method is based on doing plenty of examples and exam papers. It is important to start with the theory then move on to worked examples followed by many, many questions. I firmly believe time spent practising exam papers is the key- as this will prep my students for the ultimate test.
Having achieved grades AAA in (AS) level last year, I became experienced with the syllabus and would be able to teach you all the techniques and tips I used to help you achieve similar grades. I rely on the latest textbooks, revision guides and past papers endorsed by the exam board.
After leaving industry to retrain as a teacher, I have developed wide experience of mathematical private tuition assignments. I can prepare students for particular examinations, or the skills they need for the classroom or workplace.
I like to start with with any problems or questions a student has. This gives me an idea on what may be a students weakness.
I strive hard to make learning meaningful, and applicable to daily life helping students to understand why Maths is such an important subject for overall life opportunities. My teaching method depends on the student. I evaluate their needs and compare them with their strengths and weakness and with that see how to approach the issue. Usually, the method I would choose is to learn by with time, fully understand thing requires time and cannot be rushed so planning how to approach a study topic requires establishing manageable goals.
We work through workbooks which help to highlight weaknesses which we then work on further.
My personal approach to tutoring is to help calmly and thoroughly help students understand the question and the solution to make a strong foundation for future knowledge. I aim to hint and support students to help them get to the correct answer themselves so they can get to the answer independently in the future.

When I teach, I like to break things down to basics and build up since in mathematics it is crucial to have a good understanding of the foundations of a topic before you approach the top level problems. I focus on explaining the topics from the basics so that the topic is understood clearly and all doubts are cleared from the foundation level. Also after I finish the lesson, I generally ask students to complete some homework that I can check at a later stage to see the progress of the student and which topics need to be revisited.
I approach my first lessons by doing a general test/ evaluation of the student's understanding of the subject. Once marking and explaining the correct answers in detail, I will then work on the student's weak points with them. This will include creating posters, cheat-sheets, example questions while reassuring them that they are highly capable of improving.
Mathematics and Physics are very structural. I tend to to fill the missing holes of knowledge which are the base for understanding the new material. It is not hard to understand when the lessons are explained in a proper and patient manner.
I teach by asking the student to bring any work in which they feel they need help. I try, to the best of my ability, to provide specific instructions to my students so that they will gain an elaborative understanding of maths.
