About Maddie
I’m a 17 year old sixth from student from london!
I have always had a knack for English academically and externally - getting high marks since I was small and enjoying reading and creative writing when I was younger.
When covid ended and GCSE’s came around - my ability and grades took a hit, and I struggled with my learning - even in English - a subject that I enjoyed thoroughly. Through this struggle I figured out techniques and practices that helped me recover and end up with an A and A* in both English subjects.
I tend to get along very well with younger people, I find it super fun and fulfilling, and I try to support them as much as possible academically as I know what it was like to fall behind in my schooling - and I know what helped me get the grades I wanted in the end.
I still have a love for English and literature - continuing English academically in A-Level and still really enjoying reading and writing in my spare time - It would be great to continue a love of literature whilst helping improve someone’s grades and securing them a comfortable knowledge in English.

Hey, I’m Maddie! - I’m a sixth form student that is interested in tutoring English for primary and secondary (GCSE or pre GCSE) students.
In 2022 I achieved an A + A* in English Literature & English Language in my GCSE’s and have a broad understanding of the modern English curriculum.
I’ve always been good at helping kids learn - and I don’t mind what age or level they may be, or if they might have some difficulty with learning the syllabus, or reading issues ( I’ve been there before) - I think it’s important to understand and navigate what works for different people and I’d be more than happy to be patient & support in the best way possible.
I am still in school so the tutoring would have to be after school sessions - and maybe weekends, I’m open to discussion on what fits best for both parties.
I’ve never tutored before, but I’ve helped academically with younger kids in the past, in reading support schemes and homework support, and I’d love to give it a go! :-)
