About Prakritee
I am a Year 12 student, who has gotten 7s and 8s in my GCSES. I’d love to teach maths as it’s a subject that I am very passionate about. I have picked it for A-Levels and would like to share my knowledge onto younger students who struggle to help them exceed in exams. Although I have never tutored before, I’d like it to be an opportunity for me to build up social skills and to hopefully build up the social skills of children. Most importantly, I would like children to enjoy maths. It may seem like a complicated topic, but it becomes very fun once the techniques and strategies to answer questions have been learnt. Maths can be a tricky concept to understand but I hope to overcome this and make it easy and fun for children.

I’d like to help children learn maths thoroughly, through giving examples and helping them through each step of their work to ensure they understand. I’ve received 7s and 8s in my recent GCSES and hope to pass on my knowledge to younger kids who may struggle to understand problems. The typical length of a lesson would be an hour, and can possibly be 2 if needed. I’d like my lessons to be aimed for children from ages 7-13, who struggle understanding maths and certain topics, so I can help them journey their way into better grades. As a new tutor, I’d like to adapt to each student and their own weaknesses at maths. I hope to explain certain techniques well and then show them examples as for how to answer them, and then ask for them to complete some questions for me in the same format. I’d like for my lessons to take place on either weekdays after 4pm, or weekends at any time from 10-7pm.
