I have formulated a set of detailed lesson plans focusing on what, in my experience, are the five main focus points of the Oxbridge law admissions process - LNAT/CLT; essay writing; statute comprehension; judgment comprehension; and interview technique. These lessons will centre around looking at model answers/responses, and then working through practice material together. I also think it is useful to spend time getting to grips with statutes and judgments and learning how best to read and respond to them, as this is a difficult skill that most candidates will not have refined before stepping into the interview room.
I am more than happy to tailor this approach depending on the student's particular weaknesses or needs, and am also very flexible with timetabling - for example, I can give one-off lessons (e.g. a mock interview), or more intense "crash courses" if desired.
I have recently graduated Magdalen College with a degree in Law, and am keen to help provide insight into the Oxbridge admissions process for prospective applicants. I have significant experience with this, having provided mock interviews at my former school for the past 3 years; and also volunteered with a local tutoring charity (Jacari) during my time at university.
