About Elijah
Hi! My name is Elijah and it's great to get to meet you! I'm a former Penn State graduate and lifelong nerd who has always enjoyed sharing my knowledge with those around me. I believe that learning can be fun, and sometimes silly, which is the best way to learn anything really. While studying and classes may be hard sometimes, I believe that anyone can succeed with the right motivation and means to do so.

I often start lessons by having a small chat and seeing where we know work needs to be done. After that, we begin with going over KWL. What we Know, What we Want to Know, and What we Learned (at the end of the session). Several digital media methods are employed to engage students in learning styles that best fit their personality and method of learning and retaining material. I often sprinkle in interesting facts or share tips and tricks on study in my tutoring subjects to make it easier for my students to do well in their classes. If I'm granted contact with my student's teachers, we can often work Hand-in-hand to ensure that we are learning all the proper material in the proper manner for the course.
