My philosophy when it comes to teaching revolves around patience, consistency and empathy because being a recent student myself, I too am aware of the difficulty and sacrifices students have to make in order to achieve their best. From these principles and through our joint efforts, my students can take solace knowing that they are in capable hands and are in an environment through which they can reach their true potential.
I have recently graduated with a Master's degree in actuarial science and can offer lessons in mathematics up to A-Level and lessons in statistics up to first year university level.
I have tutored A-level and GCSE mathematics in the past on part time basis and have helped a wide array of students, ranging from those who were struggling to achieve a C grade to those who were trying to obtain an A* grade. My recent master's degree, which I have just completed, has given me strong foundational knowledge in statistics and its applications and, along with my expertise in mathematics in general, I can offer statistics and actuarial science lessons at a third level. In addition to this, I can also offer introductory lessons in R programming for both statistical, actuarial and data science purposes if required.
