About Penelope
I’m a Math tutor with over 3 years of experience and a BSc in Mathematics and Computer Science. I enjoy helping students improve their mathematical communication and exposition skills. My focus is on explaining complex concepts clearly, so they become easier to understand. I guide students in writing coherent mathematical arguments that make sense logically and are easy to follow. I also support students in presenting their solutions effectively, whether in essays, research papers, or oral presentations. Working with university students on these skills has been a rewarding part of my tutoring journey. I believe that being able to express mathematical ideas clearly is just as important as solving problems. My teaching style is patient and encouraging. I break down difficult topics into simple parts and show how to connect ideas smoothly. I help students gain confidence in both their written and spoken math skills.
