I am a Materials Science and Engineering Graduate from Texas A&M University, I've taken up to Engineering Calculus 3 and peer tutored mathematics in college. I have had a passion for math since I was very young. I care deeply about developing the minds of students and creating an environment to learn and enjoy what you are learning.

A teaching plan must be tailored to the student, working through problems together, finding logic paths that work for you, and reinforcing concepts through repetition are essential for creating a well-rounded student. Arithmetic is not the only skill needed to understand mathematics, consistent vocabulary and rewording are needed as well. Lesson Plan: - Review (Understanding and reinforcing what we already know) - Teaching (Introducing a new concept, or recovering an old concept that wasn't well understood) - Guided Practice (Working through practice problems together, underlining the concept) - Individual Practice (Taking ownership of the learning, and trying it by yourself) As a tutor, I want you to get the best grade you can, but more than that, I want you to understand what you're doing, and why.
