About Sierra
Going into high school I was put into honors classes and I was scared that I was not prepared but that did not stop me. I spent my four years learning the best methods to study and learn the material the teachers have given me. I have also discovered that I love teaching others what I have learned so I started tutoring. First at my school but then I started to tutor kids from other local schools. My favorite subject is math but I am also intrigued by all things science. I took in-depth biology classes during high school, including genetics and microbiology. It is crazy how much I learned yet there is still so much knowledge and concepts that I don't know yet!

I am here to help with your math and science needs, more specifically algebra, geometry, trigonometry, pre-calc, and calc (AB or BC), and of course biology. My job is not only to teach the material but to help you understand it! I am also a visual learner like many others and will happily explain the lesson differently for a better understanding. During my session, we would start by talking about the overview of the chosen topic then dive into some examples, because practice makes improvement (not perfection), then spend the majority of time getting any assignments or homework done if the student has any.
