About Daniel
I got a degree in mathematics from UC Berkeley. I have tutoring experience dating back more than 10 years. I have tutored students of all ages, from elementary school to high school levels. I am also comfortable tutoring lower division undergraduates in mathematics.
I am responsible and punctual. I will hold my students accountable and help them build strong study habits. My goal is for all my students to gain confidence and reach a strong understanding of the course material through completing their homework assignments together, so that they feel prepared for their tests and are able to perform at their very best.

I like to focus on your critical path items: to improve your grades, complete all your homework assignments, prepare for your tests, etc. During sessions, I like to dive right in -- to work on assignments due immediately, and fill core gaps in understanding as we encounter them. I use lots of visuals and simulations to convey important ideas; to give a different look at a concept your teacher/professor didn't explain clearly. I walk students through solutions step-by-step and have them explain it back to me, to ensure they have a solid understanding of what they're doing.
