About Linda
I've been teaching college level math for about 4 years and I have been tutoring all levels of math for over 8 years. I focus on helping my students by listening to their concerns, going through steps on how to solve a math problem, and then revising concepts to make sure their goals are met. One step at a time is my motto.

I'm currently a lecturer at the University of California Merced, teaching precalculus. I also teach part-time online at Mount St. Mary's University teaching basic math, elementary algebra, business in math, mathematics for elementary teachers, statistics, and precalculus. I'm here to help you succeed on your homework, upcoming exam, or personal reasons. My method of teaching is to first look at the math problem you have and then focus on teaching you the material by using definitions and many examples for comprehension. Then I give examples for you to try on your own, with my guidance, until you can solve similar problems. I will ensure that you are confident in solving the math problem by the end of our session.
