About Nikola
I hold a degree in mathematics and informatics, and I am currently completing a second degree in software engineering. I have been tutoring math professionally since 2019, first through two international online schools and now mostly through my own practice, which runs almost entirely on referrals from parents.
Outside of teaching I am a PC gamer, an anime watcher, and I spend as much time camping as the weather allows. It sounds beside the point, but it is often what gets a reluctant middle schooler talking in the first five minutes.
I teach over Zoom, keep a consistent weekly schedule, and send parents a short update after each lesson.

I have taught math online since 2019 to students across the US, from 5th grade through first year college, including seven years of Singapore Math and AMC 8 competition prep with two international online schools.
My method is simple. I ask students to think out loud so I can find the exact point where things break down, then we fix that instead of repeating the whole chapter. I also ask them to solve problems more than one way, which is what turns a copied procedure into something they own.
Lessons run 50 minutes: review, new material on a shared whiteboard with step by step solutions you keep, then targeted practice.
I work with homeschool families and traditional students alike, covering Pre-Algebra through Precalculus.
