About Sushma
This is Sushma, an alumnus of IITB and IIMB by education, a community developer by profession and a budding entrepreneur by passion.
My initial work experience with HPCL-Mittal Energy Ltd as Technical Engineer helped me put my technical skills in use for a refinery under commissioning. I utilized this ground learning during my next association with Chicago Bridge & iron as a Process Engineer. My short stint as an Academic Mathematics Consultant with IITian’s Pace, allowed me to dedicate my passion to enable others.
Post-MBA, I worked with American Express as a risk analyst, leveraging my analytical skills. Without waiting for too long, I took the plunge and started community work to build the base in impact entrepreneurship.
Next, my association with global impact community MakeSense as a founding ambassador and leading a team of six, is the backbone of my professional entry into impact space.
I have also contributed my voluntary efforts to ‘Teach for India’, ‘LetsEndorse’, ‘Jagriti Yatra’ and ‘Youth for Seva’.
My current association with LifePage as a Career Advisor has allowed me the opportunity to make an enormous impact on multiple students and professionals. This has also proved to be the eventual intersection of entrepreneurship, impact, and technology I always wished to engage with.
This is my overall contribution in the professional and social world so far.

My teaching methodology is broadly divided into 4 parts:
1. Understanding the student need, motivation, and purpose behind the pursuit of the curriculum or the course of study (in case of competitive examinations)
2. Working on delivering the fundamentals and concepts to the student in an engaging and interacting way
3. Following the above with proper tutorial exercises and practice problems for concept clarity and better understanding
4. Working on doubts and issues faced by the student during the practice and tutorial problems
5. in case needed, reworking on concepts and fundamentals unless the student is clear and comfortable with the same
