About Riya
I have been passionate about mathematics since childhood, fascinated by patterns, logic, and problem-solving challenges. I earned a B.Sc in Mathematics and an M.Sc in Applied Mathematics, specializing in algebra, calculus, and statistics. Over 10 years of teaching, I have guided students at different levels to develop deep understanding, analytical skills, and confidence in both theoretical and applied mathematics. I emphasize patience, clarity, and adaptability. Lessons are tailored to match each student’s pace and learning style, using interactive exercises, visual aids, and practical examples to foster engagement, comprehension, and mastery. I encourage independent thinking, logical reasoning, and curiosity to cultivate both confidence and enjoyment in mathematics. Outside of teaching, I work on applied mathematics projects, optimization studies, and research initiatives, integrating these insights into lessons for practical relevance. Teaching mathematics is fulfilling because I witness students gain confidence, critical thinking, and long-lasting appreciation for problem-solving.
