About Lucy
I am a Math tutor with 9 years of experience and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics. Teaching has shown me that students perform their best when they feel encouraged, supported, and free to learn at their own pace.
My lessons are built around patience, clear communication, and structured learning. I adapt every class to suit individual needs while helping students build strong foundations that prepare them for advanced topics with confidence.
Outside teaching, I enjoy exploring mathematical research, creating educational resources, and solving analytical challenges. These interests allow me to bring fresh ideas into every lesson while making Mathematics interesting and rewarding.

My Mathematics lessons are designed to make learning clear, practical, and enjoyable for every student. We explore algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, probability, statistics, coordinate geometry, sequences, and mathematical reasoning through simple explanations and meaningful activities. I encourage learners to understand every concept before attempting difficult questions, allowing them to build confidence naturally. Each lesson includes examples from everyday situations so students can see how Mathematics is useful beyond the classroom.
As learners progress, we practice equation solving, graph interpretation, mathematical modelling, estimation techniques, logical puzzles, and exam preparation through carefully planned exercises. I explain different methods whenever possible so students learn to solve problems with flexibility instead of depending on one approach. Regular revision sessions, guided practice, and constructive feedback strengthen both speed and accuracy while improving overall confidence.
My goal is to help students enjoy Mathematics while becoming independent thinkers. Every lesson develops logical reasoning, careful analysis, and problem-solving skills that support future academic and personal success.
